Sam is a Registered Dietitian who holds a Masters Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics. Born and raised in New York, she finds herself as a new Seattle resident enjoying the moody PNW weather. Sam was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at 13 years old and quickly recognized the relationship food has on chronic diseases. This early experience sparked her interest in medical nutrition therapy, as she sought how to help others who may be confused by the abundance of misleading nutrition information found online.
Sam is passionate about supporting clients through a Health at Every Size (HAES) approach, working to dismantle the harmful impacts of diet culture and challenge societal norms around bodies. She takes a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to nutrition, where all foods are welcomed.
Whether you are working through disordered eating patterns or simply striving to find peace with food & body, Sam is here to guide you with empathy, evidence-based nutrition, and provide you with the tools to feel empowered in your journey.
In her free time, you'll find Sam camping with her dog Moose, skiing at Stevens Pass, swimming in alpine lakes and traveling to new places based on where she can find the best food to try!
